Installation & Usage Instructions
1. Installation Requirements
For optimal performance, please observe the following requirements during installation. First, install the light in a location with maximum sunlight exposure to ensure continuous operation. Next, choose a flat, horizontal mounting surface with sufficient mechanical strength. Finally, use the provided bracket and secure the unit firmly with the four supplied M10 screws.
2. Initial Setup & Operation
Follow these steps to activate and configure your light. To begin, locate and turn ON the battery switch at the bottom for first-time use. (Note: Turn this switch OFF for long-term storage.) Then, set your desired operating mode (Steady ON or Flashing) using the toggle switch. Subsequently, the light will operate automatically via its photocontrol, activating at dusk and deactivating at dawn. For manual testing, simply cover the light sensor to simulate darkness.
3. Important Precautions & Maintenance
Adhering to these guidelines will ensure safety and long service life. Primarily, exercise extreme caution around the sharp anti-perching spikes on top of the light to avoid puncture injuries. Furthermore, for optimal performance, plan to replace the internal lithium iron phosphate battery annually. Additionally, if the product is stored for over six months, expose it to direct sunlight for at least three days before use to fully recharge the battery.
