Installation & Usage Instructions
1. Site Selection: Ensuring Sufficient Sunlight
First, please select a suitable location for the light. Specifically, the chosen spot must receive ample direct sunlight throughout the day, as this solar-powered unit requires sufficient light for continuous operation and battery charging.
2. Mounting Procedure: Secure Installation
After choosing the location, proceed with the physical installation. First, ensure the mounting surface is flat, level, and possesses adequate mechanical strength to support the light. Then, securely fasten the unit using the four provided M10 screws.
3. Power Activation & Mode Selection
Before initial use, configure the power and settings. Begin by locating the battery switch on the bottom of the light and turn it to the “ON” position. Conversely, remember to switch it to “OFF” for long-term storage. Next, select your desired warning signal mode—Steady or Flashing—using the adjacent toggle switch.
4. Operation & Testing
This light features automatic dusk-to-dawn operation via a built-in photocell. Therefore, it will activate only when the ambient light level falls below its sensor’s threshold. Consequently, to test the unit, you must place it in a dark environment to simulate nighttime conditions, as bright light will prevent activation.
Precautions & Safety Information
1. Battery Maintenance & Storage
The internal battery is crucial for performance. To ensure reliability, we strongly recommend replacing the battery annually. Furthermore, if the product is stored for more than six months, you must expose it to direct sunlight for three full days before reuse to fully recharge the battery.
2. Safe Handling Practices
Always exercise caution during installation and maintenance. Specifically, be extremely careful of the sharp anti-perching spike on top of the unit to avoid potential puncture injuries. Therefore, handle the light with appropriate care at all times.
