Solar Warning Light ENET-OL201
Application Field
The Solar Warning Light ENET-OL201 is suitable for various helipad types, including surface, elevated, and shipboard decks. Its primary function is to guide and warn helicopters, thereby ensuring safe take-off and landing operations.
Product Introduction & Function
Approach Guidance Function
This solar warning light emits a sequential flashing white light to provide critical approach guidance for aircraft during landing. Specifically, it indicates the approach direction to pilots. These lights are installed in the approach zone of a landing area, positioned outside the perimeter lights, and can be arranged on either a single side or bilaterally.
Installation & Operation
A minimum of five lights operate together as one group. They flash sequentially from the outermost light inwards, creating a clear leading visual signal for approach path identification.
Main Features & Characteristics
Durable Construction & Materials
The fixture features a lens cover made of durable PC material with an anti-perching spike. This design provides excellent impact strength, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, thermal stability, and flame retardancy. Furthermore, the lamp base combines aluminum alloy with SUS304 stainless steel and a powder-coated finish, making it lightweight, waterproof, shock-resistant, and corrosion-resistant.
Advanced Light Source & Protection
The light source employs imported cold cathode xenon tubes, which deliver high brightness (with luminous efficacy up to 100 Lm/W), low power consumption, and an exceptional flash cycle life of up to 100 million times. Consequently, this technology sees widespread use in the global aviation industry. Additionally, the integrated power circuit includes a surge protection device capable of withstanding severe lightning strikes (In 7.5KA/5 times, Imax 15KA), ensuring suitability for harsh climatic environments.
Safety & Maintenance Design
The light incorporates a breakaway or frangible design to effectively prevent secondary damage to helicopters upon impact. The plug-in installation method for the light source also makes maintenance simple and safe. As a result, the system offers stable operation and low maintenance costs.
Customization Options
A dedicated controller allows for remote control operation as a customizable function. The standard power lead wire is 1.5 meters long, though manufacturers can customize this length.
