Solar Airport Taxiway Light ENET-LS-E

The Heliport Approach Light is a fixture that emits sequential flashing white light, primarily used for approach guidance during aircraft landing at an airport. It provides pilots with an indication of the approach direction. These lights are installed in the approach direction of the airport, outside the perimeter lights. They can be installed on a single side or bilaterally. A minimum of five lights form one group, flashing sequentially from the outermost light inwards.

Application Field

The Solar Airport Taxiway Light ENET-LS-E provides essential guidance for helicopters operating across various helipad types, including surface, elevated, and shipboard locations. Specifically, this light directs and warns aircraft to ensure safe take-off and landing procedures.

Product Introduction

This fixture functions as a Heliport Approach Light by emitting a sequential flashing white light. Its primary role is to guide aircraft during final approach and clearly indicate the landing direction to pilots. Typically, installation crews place these lights along the designated approach path, just outside the airport’s main perimeter lighting. Furthermore, the system design allows for flexible single-side or bilateral installation. For correct operation, a minimum set of five lights must flash in sequence, starting from the outermost point and moving inward.

Main Features & Characteristics:

Durable Construction & Materials
The lens cover uses durable PC material and includes an anti-perching spike. As a result, it offers excellent impact strength along with strong corrosion, UV, and heat resistance. Additionally, the lamp base combines lightweight aluminum alloy with SUS304 stainless steel and features a powder-coated finish, ensuring superior waterproofing and corrosion resistance.

High-Performance Lighting & Safety
For illumination, an imported cold cathode xenon tube serves as the light source, delivering high brightness (up to 100 Lm/W), low power consumption, and a flash cycle life of up to 100 million cycles. Moreover, the built-in surge protection device withstands severe lightning strikes (In 7.5KA/5 times, Imax 15KA), which makes the light reliable even in harsh climates. Furthermore, its breakaway/frangible design effectively prevents secondary damage to helicopters in case of impact.

Convenient Maintenance & Customization
The plug-in installation method for the light source allows for simple and safe maintenance. Consequently, the light operates stably with low long-term costs. Finally, the system can integrate with a dedicated controller for remote operation if required. The standard power lead wire measures 1.5m, and you can request a custom length.
